Lake City Ice Climbs
Lake City Ice Park clings to the cliffs above Henson Creek at the south edge of town (Bluff Street to County Road 20) and offers two ice climbing areas with mixed grades WI-3 and up. Pumphouse Park has approximately 15+ routes with 60 to 100+ foot pitches. The Beer Garden located .25 mile up Henson Creek that's 800 feet wide, and contains up to 30 routes with 70 to 110+ foot pitches. A town-hosted Ice Climbing Festival is held annually in February. The Lake City Ice Park is climb at your own risk.

Ice Skating and Ice Hockey
When temperatures allow, the Town of Lake City maintains an excellent outdoor ice rink for skaters of all skill levels and interests. Located on the west side of the historic Armory building and Town Hall, the rink is near the intersection of Bluff and 3rd streets. Ice skates are available for use, first come first serve.
